Who We Are and What We Actually Do

Betazswift is a family-run local business based on Lamu Road in Malindi, Kenya. We provide three core things: on-the-ground local services (logistics coordination, on-site support, and community assistance), a structured appointment booking system for time-sensitive tasks, and a curated product supply service for households and small traders. We serve Malindi residents, coastal community organisations, market traders, small hospitality operators, and anyone else in the area who needs reliable help from people who know the town. Since 2017, we have completed over 1,400 jobs across these three service lines, built supplier relationships in Mombasa and Nairobi, and grown from a two-person operation to a small team of six, all of whom live within 10 km of our office. We are not a tech platform, a franchise, or an outsourced service provider. Every job that carries the Betazswift name is managed and executed by someone who is part of this family or has been working alongside us for at least two years.
How We Work, and Where We Draw the Line
Our process is straightforward, and we're honest about the boundaries that keep our quality consistent.
Our working method is simple: respond fast, scope clearly, do the job well, and fix anything that isn't right before we close the file. We don't take on more simultaneous jobs than the team can cover without cutting corners — which means we occasionally have to say we're fully booked. That's a deliberate choice. We've seen what happens to family businesses that overextend, and we won't let it happen here. In terms of craft, our strength is in practical operational support within Malindi and its immediate surroundings — roughly a 20 km radius from Lamu Road. Beyond that radius, surcharges apply and lead times lengthen, and we'll always tell you before you commit. We don't handle heavy civil works, regulated electrical installations, medical services, or any task requiring a professional licence we don't hold. Our value is in fast, accountable, neighbourly service — not in being everything to everyone. The teal-modern aesthetic of our workspace reflects this clarity: clean lines, no clutter, easy to navigate. We think a well-run business should feel the same way from the inside as it looks from the outside.
